purpose and objective is to establish an organization that will
meet the needs of goat owners and their herds by:
1.
Providing a forum for the exchange of information and ideas on
goats.
2.
Cooperation in coordinating marketing assistance.
3.
Serve as a source of information about goats.
4.
Work with 4-H, FFA, and local agencies to promote goat projects
and enterprises.

RECENT EVENTS
Midwest Goat Producer's Spring Fling was conducted on
April 10th in Mt Carmel, IL.
The "Hands-On" Clinic featured sessions on Goat Types and Breeds, Training Your Animal to Lead, Hoof Trimming,
Equipment, Preparing Your Animal for Show, and a Practice Run On Showing and
Showmanship. The day was packed with information to
help young exhibitors.

held January 9, 2010 at the Holiday Hotel in Olney, IL.
